Tribal Broadband Bootcamp
merit in the field:
Last year, our Merit Network team participated in Michigan’s first Tribal Broadband Bootcamp, hosted by the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. This three-day intensive learning experience brought together network operators, industry professionals, and broadband experts to share knowledge on building and running Tribal Internet networks. The event was so successful we decided to do it again!
From August 18-21, 2025, the Sault Tribe will be hosting our next tribal Broadband Bootcamp in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. ?Participants from across the Midwest will gain hands-on skills to help bridge the digital divide. We’re thrilled to contribute to this and other vital initiatives that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Together, we’re building stronger, more connected tribal communities.
